1. It is best to ensure that the towing vehicle and the towed vehicle are in a straight line. Angular traction can either counteract the traction force or cause the steel cable of the winch to wrap around one end. If the angle cannot be adjusted, the directional pulley can be used.

2. When using the winch to tow heavy objects or vehicles, always pay attention to the battery voltage. If the battery voltage is too low, immediately stop the operation, and increase the battery voltage by increasing the engine speed to force the generator to charge. Because the power of the winch motor is rated, the lower the voltage is, the greater the current to break through the battery and control relay is. The life of the battery and the relay in the control box can be reduced faster by using the low voltage forcibly. In case of low voltage, the rope retraction speed will also slow down.

3. When dragging heavy objects or vehicles that are difficult to drag, pulley blocks can be used to form a loop to increase the traction.

4. In the process of dragging, reasonable methods should be used to fix the traction point, such as tire drilling, fixing the body, and skillfully using tools such as tree holding belt and ground spear.

5. Ensure the reliability of clutch switch to avoid danger during rescue.

6. Wear gloves when operating the winch cable, and place rubber pads and other items on the cable to prevent the destructive rebound after the winch cable breaks.

7. If the time is too short to ensure the neatness of rope retraction, it is also necessary to release the rope fence again if conditions permit, and wrap the rope fence neatly on the reel again. Avoid tangled rope fence for a long time.

8. When towing objects, if it is necessary to loosen the wire rope, the rope release button should be carefully used, which may easily cause the wire rope to knot and twist on the reel. It can work with the clutch to straighten the steel cable as far as possible before use.

9. It is better to equip 2 winches for team travel, cross-country and adventure to correspond to the rescue or dangerous situation.

10. The winch shall be rigidly connected with the most secure and reliable part of the vehicle body to avoid separation from the vehicle body or other hazards during dragging.

11. There is also a spare battery, which is a power slot. The winch can quickly consume the power of the battery. Double batteries are necessary, and the second battery can be prepared to be larger.
